russia's national bolshevik party are in the news
after that country's supreme court overruled a presidential decision
by vladimir putin to ban the party
in the wake of a series of public relations stunts
that left the govenment red-faced

i'm not sure what they're on about politically
but they have managed to amass a collection of art and artists
which draw powerfully from both socialist and nazi art traditions
and is unlike anything you're likely to see in a local gallery

the work of igor cherchenko, seen above, is particularly haunting
